Jr. Park Protectors
Delaware State Parks · Brandywine Creek State Park, Wilmington
2027 dates not posted yet
The 2026 season ended Jul 31. Most camps post next summer's dates over the winter — we'll update this page when they do.
Bring your curiosity, a water bottle, and shoes that can get muddy for this exploration of the wildlife in the park! Campers will play games to discover the plants, animals, and people that make Brandywine Creek wild! You'll also learn skills that you can use to go on your own adventures like what to do in an emergency and how to read a map. Your child should be comfortable in water for this camp, as we will be wading in the creek looking for aquatic insects.
Good for: A hands-on nature camp for kids ages 6-8 who are comfortable wading in the creek to explore Brandywine Creek plants, animals, and wildlife.
