Learning the Trades Camp

Hagley Museum and Library · Hagley Museum, Wilmington

2027 dates not posted yet

The 2026 season ended Aug 7. Most camps post next summer's dates over the winter — we'll update this page when they do.

Hands-on historic trades — cooper, mason, printer, mapmaker — culminating in a job fair. Week of August 3; ages 10–12.

Good for: Best for 10-12 year olds who'd rather make than watch — kids actually try the trades each day (powderman, stonemason, cooper, farmer, mapmaker, printer) and demo what they learned at a Friday jobs fair. Skip if your kid wants screen time or a STEM/coding angle — Hagley's STEAM Maker Camp is the other lane.
