ECO Camp: Technology to Measure our Changing Environment

University of Delaware · Newark

2027 dates not posted yet

The 2026 season ended Jul 10. Most camps post next summer's dates over the winter — we'll update this page when they do.

ECO Camp explores marine and coastal systems through classroom instruction, hands-on experience collecting and analyzing environmental data, research lab visits and field experiences. During this environmental tech week in Newark, students gain an understanding of environmental monitoring, resource mapping, and regional and local ecological challenges. Students will build and fly drones, evaluate freshwater ecosystems, explore sustainability projects, investigate climate change impacts and assess environmental degradation. ECO Camp is run jointly by UD's College of Earth, Ocean and Environment

Good for: Tween/early-teen who's into environmental science. Hands-on drones, freshwater ecosystems, sustainability projects, climate impact — joint UD College of Earth, Ocean and Environment program. More serious than "nature day camp."
