This exciting STEAM week offers rising 5th through 7th graders a chance to Escape! Yes, escape from a digital game and lock boxes, while developing the skills and strategies needed to create their very own escape game. Throughout the week, campers will also escape to Science, Technology, and Art facilities on the UD campus. Finally, the week will culminate with an exciting trip to a local Escape Room where students will put their new strategies into practice! Please note this is a four-day program due to UD’s campus closing on June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. Location: The Coll
Good for: Rising grades 5-7 puzzle-and-game kids. They design their own escape room across the week, visit STEAM facilities on UD campus, and end with a trip to a real escape room. 4-day week (UD closed for Juneteenth). Better than a generic "STEM" camp for kids who like logic + strategy specifically.
