This unique chamber strings camp combines traditional small group instruction with avant-garde repertoire and creative learning activities for middle school violin, viola, cello, and upright bass students. The four-day camp is led by UD Music Education faculty, Dr. George Nicholson, who brilliantly balances the old and new in string education as he instills fundamentals of playing with innovative student-led learning activities. Participants will receive coaching sessions to hone technical & musical skills, attend guest performances, and participate in music enrichment sessions. There will be
Good for: Middle-school string players (violin, viola, cello, upright bass). Same UD-faculty-led chamber-strings curriculum as the High School Edition, scaled for middle-school technique. 4-day. The strongest middle-school chamber opportunity in NCC.
