Camp Montessori at Wilmington Montessori School runs Core Camp + specialty programs for ages 12 months through grade 8, in six age groups: Turtles (12–36 mo, WMS families only), Pandas (ages 3–5, entering preschool), Kangaroos (entering K), Tigers (grades 1–2), Meerkats (grades 3–4), and Dragons (grades 5–8). Afternoon specialty programs (Archery I & II, Literacy 1:1 tutoring) run alongside Core Camp. As of late April 2026 Turtles is filled for all weeks except Week 11 — call 302-475-0555 for the waitlist or the Core-Camp weekly schedule.
Good for: Ages 3-5 entering preschool. Open to non-WMS families (unlike the Turtles toddler band, which is WMS-only). Montessori-method structure — mixed-age groupings, child-led work cycles — which reads differently from a thematic-week day camp.
