What to Expect
Harvest Hayride is Arasapha Farm's fall-weekends operation in Glen Mills, about half an hour from Wilmington. The core of a visit is a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick your own, then time in the play areas: a giant pillow bounce, a pallet maze and a tractor-and-truck playground, plus a corn maze and a courtyard with picnic areas.
It's a pumpkin farm, not an orchard, so there's no apple picking. That matters more than usual in 2026, when a late spring frost wiped out most of the local apple crop.
Who It's Best For
Our take: the play areas (pillow bounce, pallet maze, tractor-and-truck playground) are aimed at little kids, and a hayride plus picking one pumpkin is the right size of outing for a preschooler. School-age kids get the corn maze.
